SeedGuard has defined requirements for each step to create a transparent and all-encompassing certification system. The neutral inspection and certification under the SeedGuard System is conducted by independent certification bodies that satisfy the following requirements:

 • fullfill international requirements ISO/IEC 17065
 • carry out independent and impartial certifications
 • deploy qualified and expert personnel are registered with SeedGuard

Before taking up their inspection activities, the certification bodies must be registered by SeedGuard or another national Agent.
